Watford Mencap - MIGLOO

Watford Mencap have asked us to share this information with you. They are going to be launching their accessible mobile changing facility, the MIGLOO at a number of events around the local area in the next few months.

The MIGLOO is a portable, standalone changing facility that provides those with profound disabilities and multiple learning difficulties a private place in which to be changed out in the community. The MIGLOO includes a hoist and adult sized changing bench. It gives people the freedom to visit new venues that are wheelchair accessible and can be used in all sorts of environments.

They will be taking their MIGLOO out to the following community events in 2017:

The Rickmansworth Canal Festival -20th and 21st May

Abbots Langley Carnival - 10th June

Croxley Revels - 24th June

CroxFest - September
